Monk Armor Graphics Glitches
Hello,
Resently I used my monk again and I noticed some really annoying armor glinches after I zoom out more then about halfway. On the top of the head the hair it looks like I'm bold, at the back of my head it looks like I have 2 extra ears. In the back of my Vestment a part of the front armor shows. Also the elbows and knees show small spots of skin. Hopefuly this is going to get fixed soon.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. It's pretty minor.

It's not worth worrying over little things like that. Chances are no one else can see it but you, and if they can they don't really care. That's community apathy working to your favor. If it's a personal issue, try armor mixing and texmod. You can fix most minor things like that by yourself.
My character looks l33t. :D

"Why do you have 4 ears?"
"All the better to hear you with."
That's pretty messed up.

It's not only me. Other people can see my armor glitch aswell. If you like you can PM me ingame and see for yourself And it would be nice if I could wear the armor I like without it glitching.

Ah, but there are a great many such visual glitches and clipping issues. On my hair style for example, I wear a monocle rather than spectacles, from a number of angles, due to the wisp of hair hanging down from my bangs. Other angles they turn back into spectacles. Its quite annoying. Were I to go through the various sets of armors I have on my monk alone, I could probably make a list of at least 5 such things. Maybe more.
I do wish they'd fix these things, since armor customization is one of the few things we can do with our characters looks, but I wouldnt hold your breath.

This bug is specific to NF monks only. I have the exact same thing on my female NF monk. I have spoken to anet about it, and you just get the expected we will look into it yada yada BS.

So many things have been noted dating back to 2005 which still haven't been resolved. Get over it.

You can wear any armor you want, but some armors have minor clipping/glitch issues. I would tend to agree with you, but the reality of it is that it is unrealistic to expect Anet to fix these small and minor glitches. More so now that they're dedicating the lions share of their resources to GW2. Maybe after everythings done, and GW2 is well into live they might go back to GW1 and tie up small loose ends like that.
But don't hold your breath. Like I said, armor mixing and Texmod FTW.

What's sad is that it's tolerated. Why is it unrealistic to tie up some minor glitches?

There is a similar glitch with Paragons and being able to see through the top of their heads if you zoom out. It has been known since Nightfall was released, it hasn't gotten fixed, neither will this.

My female nightfall monk wears the female version of that dress and does not have the same issue.
I'll grab some shots later tonight to verify - but I've never seen anything like that.

For the same reason that it's unrealistic to expect that Bin Ladin will schedule a press conference and apologize for 9/11. It's possible, but it's not realistic. I didn't close myself to the possibility that AN might fix the glitches. I tend to hate graphic flaws to the point that I'm willing to remedy the problem myself via texmod and armor mixing to get a desirable look without graphical error. One might say I'm intolerant of minor graphic flaws. To this extent I agree with the OP and with others on the topic. This is why I posted a possible resolution and some friendly advice.

Lots of armors from tons of classes have had visual glitches for years and there even is/was a big thread about that with screenshots in the bug forum for eons, but AFAIK to date very few of them have been fixed.
Here is a link to that thread:

The other similar glitches certaintly didn't get "fixed soon", don't see why the ones in the OP should have a priority over those ones. But luckily at least there is equality in the sense that all likelihood is none of them will be fixed "soon", if at all.

A monocle makes you fancy.
@ OP: The glitches are fairly minor, and a lot of them are based on the universal character models with overlapping textures. Some textures just are not as great as others. So, you are bound to get a few glitches. I wouldn't worry too much over spilled milk. Yes it may be annoying, but, many things in life are. My mesmer has holes in her FoW armor when zoomed out, HOLES in armor that costs 1mil gold. I am not going nuts over it though.

The worst part is, it has nothing to do with my armor I can take it off and the same things happen.
